1. Miyuu Yamamoto. A later world champion in women's freestyle wresting, in the early 1990's Ms. Yamamoto lived in the Phoenix area for two years as an exchange student. During her senior year, our sources tell us, she finished 6th in the state at the lightest weight level. As far as we know, Miyuu received no national publicity for this remarkable accomplishment.
2. Afsoon Roshanzamir. Graduated from Independence High School in California in 1990. Wrestled two years on the varsity team. See also History Page.
3. Lisa Berube. Graduated from Escanaba High School in Michigan in 1995. Competed on the varsity wrestling team for three years. Earned a 16-5 record during her best year and a 30-21 overall varsity record.
4. Malissa Sherwood. Graduated from Tracy High School in California in 1995 with a 47-19 record (varsity and junior varsity combined).
5. Diana Wesendunk. Graduated from Aragon High School in California in 1993. Competed on the varsity wrestling team for four years, earning a 11-9 record her senior, at the approximately 130 pound weight class.
6. Keristen Labelle. Keristen compiled an incredible 50-12 record as a 103 lb. wrestler for top rated Davison High School in Michigan.

1. Lauren Wolfe. Graduated from Okemos High School in Michigan in 1995. Had over 100 varsity matches. Very successful early in her high school career, before advancing to the approximately 145 pound weight class.

1. Shannon Williams. Competed for Chaffey High School in California, where she was the Most Valuable Wrestler and captain for the Junior Varsity team.
2. Rosemarie Unpingco. She had a 26-6 record in 1996-1997 at Antioch High School in California, competing for both the varsity and junior varsity teams.
